Abstract：How is Canadian national identity constructed? What are the relationship between the national identity and the immigration policy of Canada? And how has the Black presence in Canada influenced Canada’s national identity formation and immigration policy? This paper examines the extent to which Black, continental Africans are implicated in the nation-immigration dialectic of Canada. It sets various conceptions Black African identities in Canada against notions of Canadian national identity, using the dialectical principles of negation and sublation. As the number of Black Africans continues to grow, it is important to understand the interplay between the social construction of ‘blackness’ and the national identity formation of Canada.

　　摘要：加拿大的国家认同是怎样建立的？加拿大国家认同和移民政策之间的关系是什么？加拿大黑人的存在怎样影响加拿大国家认同的形成和移民政策？本文研究了黑人、大陆非洲人与加拿大国家-移民辩证法的关联程度。本文运用辩证法的否定和扬弃原则，相对于加拿大国家认同概念的不同，说明了加拿大非洲黑人认同的各种概念。随着非洲黑人人口持续增长，理解‘黑人性’（blackness）社会建设和加拿大国家认同形成的相互作用变得非常重要。
